Cubs trip to Ruislip Fire Station
Our Cub pack enjoyed a trip to Ruislip Fire Station where Darren and his colleagues showed them all around the engines and the fire station.
The each got to use the fire hose. One of our Scouts is helping one of the Cubs - he is a Young Leader and is taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award.
They even got to sit in the cab of the fire engine!
The visit helped the Beavers work towards their Our World challenge award and their Fire Safety activity badge.
